Project Overview
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I had the privilege of joining forces with Revive Health, a creative agency, to contribute to the UNC Health 'This Is Your Shot' campaign. This initiative aimed to combat vaccine hesitancy among communities of color, recognizing the deeply rooted mistrust and disparities in healthcare.
My Role and Achievements
As the Graphic Designer, I played a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of the campaign. I crafted graphics and visuals that not only captured attention but also resonated with the unique cultures and viewpoints of Black and Latinx communities. My design work contributed to the campaign's resource hub, YourShot.org, and various educational materials aimed at addressing vaccine hesitancy.
Integration
Joining the campaign mid-stream demanded adaptability and swift integration into the team's workflow. I swiftly familiarized myself with the project's objectives, design guidelines, and communication strategy.

Despite joining the project mid-way, my designs played a significant role in the campaign's success. The campaign witnessed a substantial increase in website visits, from 6,000 to an impressive 155,000, with over 100,000 North Carolinians registering for vaccination through the site.
Reflection
This project allowed me to demonstrate my ability to thrive in dynamic, high-stakes environments. Joining mid-stream demanded quick adaptation and collaboration, and I'm proud to have played a part in a campaign that addressed critical public health issues during the pandemic.
It underscores my commitment to impactful design and my capacity to seamlessly integrate into diverse project teams, contributing effectively even when time is of the essence.
