Project Overview
As the Art Director at International Game Technology (IGT), I undertook a monumental task – to guide our global workforce through a transformative rebranding journey. With nearly three decades of brand history, IGT was ready to embrace a fresh identity, and my mission was clear: to create more than just a traditional brand book. I envisioned a dynamic, interactive experience that would captivate, educate, and ignite a sense of belonging among our diverse employee base.
My Role and Achievements
The Employee Communication Booklet
To rally our 5,000 employees worldwide around this transformative rebrand, I designed a set of 30 unique cards inspired by the 'House of Cards' concept by Eames. Each card was a treasure trove of brand messaging, graphics, and elements. With six slits strategically placed on each card, employees could slide them together, creating a branded architectural experience. These cards became more than just informational pieces; they became symbols of pride and approval within our organization.
Result
The IGT Rebrand Employee Communication Booklet became a powerful tool for uniting our global workforce behind our new brand vision. It showcased our commitment to innovation and engagement, fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose among our employees. This project exemplifies my ability to transform brand communication into a tangible, engaging experience, driving positive change within an organization.
Reflection
Rebranding IGT was challenging but rewarding. The new visual identity conveyed our message, and the interlocking cards helped unite our global workforce. The design has the power to drive change and purpose. An honor to be a part of it.
